I preach a lot about self love. I truly think if we can grasp that, we'd all be better off. It's not easy. We're hard on ourselves, and the devil injects poison in our heads (along with guilt, condemnation and fear). Especially as women, we are extra hard on ourselves.
I believe if we focus on who we are in Christ - and that we are fearfully and wonderfully made - this will help. I have a lot of confidence. Confidence is amazing; arrogance is not. Self love is necessary; pride is a sin.
The world always tries to misconstrue things.
The world wants you either full of yourself or down on yourself. Again, no balance. My confidence is not in me or what I can do, but Whose I am, Who lives in me, and what He accomplishes through me.
