Living in Vegas for 9 years, I became a night owl. I remember singing at Mandalay Bay until 2am and then going straight to the gym to train at 3am. Yes. I know. Recently, I wanted to get on my husband's schedule and get up earlier/go to bed earlier. I used to say "I'm such a night owl." Then, I took my own advice and started saying what I wanted rather than what I saw or felt. So, along with my daily confessions I added in:
"I am a morning person."
"I have a ton of energy in the morning."
Things like that. You know what? Here I am, finally a morning person. 💪🏼☀️
Remember, words are containers for power.
God spoke everything into existence. I encourage you to speak positive confessions over yourself, your loved ones, your career... anything and everything! If you wake up and don't feel like doing something (happens a lot and to everyone), remember your goal has to be more important than your feelings. Your feelings are temporary and subject to change. Every day is a choice.
Stop wishing and start doing.
You gotta put that work in if you want to be your best. YOUR best. We're all different. We all have things we face, deal with and go through. But we also all have the same amount of time in a day. So get after it.
